Maro Promises Massive Performance at Nzira Nago Concert

Celebrated singer Ronald Maro aka Maro has Wednesday promised to stage an outstanding concert in Jinja, which will be held this weekend.

The self-proclaimed ‘Kyabazinga’ of RnB will be holding his Nzira Nago Live in concert this Saturday.

Talking during a presser held at Africell Telecom head office in Kampala this afternoon, Maro said;

“Expect the best performance from me and other great artistes; come we party in Jinja this weekend.”

He added; “For the past month we have had tours in 10 districts of Busoga and football tournaments as a way of strengthening relationship with the fans.”

During the press conference he introduced fellow artistes who had come from Germany and Kenya like Proff and others who are to support him this weekend.

“I connected with all these people, some of the songs I did with them are on the ‘Atwooki’ album, they became my friends because I believe in networking. I want to be a musician for East Africa and the whole world,” said the ‘Nzira Nago’ singer.

Maro publicly congratulated Geosteady who was also present, for putting up a great show at his Geosteady Live concert a few days back.


“He is a blessing to the RnB music of Uganda,” Maro said.

He called upon all people in Jinja and the entire Uganda to come and support not only him but the whole Ugandan music industry this Saturday.

The Nzira Nago concert is to be sponsored by Africell Uganda.

“We have given Maro Shs50m to help him pull off his show,” said Amako Asega, the marketing executive Africell.

Amako added that “Africell has always supported local artistes and now they have come out to support Maro to the best of their ability.”

“It is our pleasure to be part of this mega concert scheduled to take place in Jinja this weekend, we call upon everyone to come through and support talent,” Amako said.

Geosteady, Rema, Ghetto Kids among others are some of the artists  who will perform at the Nzira Nago concert.
