Mao Responds to Semujju’s Claims on IPOD

The Democratic Party (DP) President Nobert Mao this morning slammed the FDC spokesperson Ibrahim Semujju Nganda who on Monday accused DP of being reluctant to handover IPOD (inter party organization for dialogue) leadership to FDC after it’s term of office expired

Semujju said FDC was ready to take up leadership but accused DP of delaying the handover process.

In response however, Mao reminded Semujju that he does not sit at any IPOD organ, and that the matter would be resolved between him (Mao as the outgoing chairman) and FDC President Patrick Amuriat Oboi

“It’s not my duty to respond to spokesperson of FDC. I will handle this matter with his boss; the President of FDC who is the member of the summit. The FDC spokesperson does not sit on any IPOD organ. I don’t want you to reduce the president of DP and chairman of the summit to start exchanging with the spokesperson.”

Mao also said DP intended to handle this matter in a mature manner. We should not fight over this. We are solution oriented we are not problem oriented” he added
