Man Commits Suicide Over Divorced Wife

Police in Luwero yesterday 15th January arrested Abdul Kirumira, approved dosage a man suspected to be behind the murder of five people in less than a month in the district.
Kirumira a resident of Kyegomba, website Butuntumula Sub County in Luwero district was arrested at Kiryandongo town when he was heading to Juba in South Sudan.
His arrest comes after the death of 5 people in the region and this time after thorough investigations, treat he was implicated in the murder of one Kenneth Kibirango and Lukomba Lukute all residents of Kyegomba.
Apparently Kirumira has for a long time been hired to kill people who have grudges on each other. Knives, a fire arm, spears and several rounds of ammunition were recovered at his residence in Luwero town.
Lamech Kigozi the region’s police spokesperson says that they had been tracking Kirumira for some time, he keeps changing his appearance and he has reported cases of armed robbery.
“We followed information from a woman who witnessed him as he killed Kibirango that night, before he loaded cattle onto the lorry heading to Juba; we pursued him and we arrested him at Kiryandongo,” said Kigozi.
He is currently being detained at Luwero police station awaiting charges of Aggravated robbery and murder if found guilty.
Police have started investigating circumstances under which Michael Okir, buy more about 29, dosage allegedly committed suicide yesterday 15th January 2015.

Okir was found dead at his residence in Katwe Kigaragi in Mubende town council, after police forcefully made their way into the room finding him hanging on the roof with a rope around his neck.

According to his friend Moses Ochen, the two that evening were together in a bar drinking, but Okir seemed troubled and left the bar at about 8:00pm but in the morning as his friend passed by to pick him and they head to work, he could not open and here he reported to the authorities.

Neighbours report that this is not the first time he has attempted to take his life ever since his wife left him; at one time he lit his room but the fire was put out in time and he was saved, taken to a psychiatrist for check-up but he seemed okay.

Phillip Mukasa the Equator region police spokesperson says that persons with differences in relationship should come for counselling at the police’s unit of child and family which is found at every police station in Uganda.

His body has been taken to Mubende hospital for post-mortem, as investigations inside his death go on.
