Ssuubi Henry Kiyimba, a Makerere University freshman who was cyberbullied on his arrival at the campus days ago, has this afternoon received an assortment of gifts that were pledged by different well-wishers on social media.
Kiyimba drew widespread sympathy after a photo of him carrying a metal case to his hall of residence on his first day, was shared and mocked online.
A support campaign geared by big social media influencers including senior broadcasters Allan Kasujja and Cedrick Babu ensued, in which different kinds of items were pledged to the youngster.
