Major Lazer have confirmed they will conclude their EDM Africa tour with a performance in Kampala, Uganda this October.
The tour which kick started in late September has seen the American Electronic Dance Music (EDM) trio tour Africa starting from Johannesburg, South Africa on Sept 29, Malawi Sept 30, Nigeria October 5, Kenya October 6, Ethiopia in October 7 and will finally be in Sheraton Kampala Gardens on October 8 to mark the end of their Africa tour.
Before the release of the Afrobeats Mix compilation, the EDM group had mostly worked on singles and remixes, some of them catching the attention of millions around the world.
Notable among these collaborations is ‘Particula’, a track that featured Ice Prince, Nasty C, DJ Maphorisa and Jidenna.
The group has featured Africa’s top talented artists including, Burna Boy, Babes Wodumo, Dj Maphorisa and more.
The top African hits include; All my life ft. Burna boy, Let me live ft. Mr. Eazi and Particula among others.
Major Lazer are only left with few days to perform in Uganda on Monday 8 October at Sheraton Gardens. The American trio will perform alongside Kenya’s Sauti Sol and Ugandan artists such as Apass, Fik Fameica, Bennie Gunter, Dj Rpm, Bk, and Mr. Silverback among other performers.
The concert is organized by Talent Africa CEO Aly Allibhai in partnership with Club Pilsner.
