Kampala City Lord Mayor Erias Lukwago yesterday met and shared gems of advice with Felista Di Superstar, one of the budding dancehall, rap artistes in Uganda’s music industry.
Felista Di Superstar visited the Lord Mayor’s parlour, welcomed by the Mayor himself and the two ‘discussed’ the covid-19 situation and how it has affected various sections of businesses, a conversation that earned the young star “a bit of financial support” from the Mayor as per our source.
“The Lord Mayor is always proud of her creativity and talent and as usual, Felista left City Hall with a smile on her face because the source of her livelihood has been greatly affected by the Covid-19 pandemic,” an insider noted.
The Mayor, our source said, cautioned Felista on taking and keeping up with her studies while she continues to chase her music career.
The Lord Mayor asked her to take her academics seriously but also to “jealously preserve, develop and protect her talent for greater horizons.”
Felista has put out a couple of songs including ‘Nawambye’ and ‘Kyikosa Ffe’ which she has been able to perform before massive audiences.
