Government has been called to intervene and save the state of Kabale-Kisoro road, which poses danger to road users.

At Hakagyezi however, the road has become a nightmare to road users because of the massive potholes.

Francis Betonda, a taxi driver on this road says because of potholes, some sections of the road have become too narrow making it impossible to overtake

He faults Uganda National Roads Authority (UNRA) for delaying the repairs on the road.

Allan Niwamanya, another taxi driver says some drivers have now resorted to using Kachwekano-Muko road which is also in bad shape and slippery when it rains.

When contacted, Allan Ssempebwa Kyobe, the UNRA Spokesperson told our reporter on phone that they have already planned to commence restoration of the affected section of the road by the second week of November.
