Levixone is one of the few gospel musicians that have held successful concerts year after year.
After having a successful year so far, the ‘Esaala’ singer decided to stage a concert dubbed ‘Turn the replay’ at Lugogo Cricket Oval on 24th November, 2018, a move that most people didn’t support considering how big this particular venue is.
However, speaking to ChimpLyf, the singer said choosing the venue was not a simple decision that he and his team made.
“We had chosen Lugogo Hockey grounds but we were told that it was going to be used for some sports activities so we had to move to oval. This is not about the big venue but I wanted accessibility for my fans and family,” he said.
He went on to add that it wouldn’t make him happy for his fans not to access his concert venue.
“I want everyone to attend and feel comfortable of the place we are in. I know my fans and lovers of gospel music will be there and it will be a fun filled event,” he added.
Lugogo cricket oval has been known as a venue for international artists and big wigs in the industry.
