FUFA Women Super League side Lady Doves Women Football Club have confirmed partying ways with John Peter Ongodia on mutual consent.
The divorce between the two parties comes after the team’s poor performance in the just concluded 2019/2020 season.
“After a careful review of the club’s performance in the just concluded season and looking at the ambitions of the club in the coming season, the leadership of Lady Doves WFC has made decisions and hereby announces changes in the technical team,” read part of the statement released by the club.
Ongodia joined the Masindi based side at the beginning of the 2019/2020 inaugural FUFA Women Super League season succeeding Oliver Mbekeka.
Before the cancellation of the Women Super League, he had managed Eight games registering four wins, three losses and one draw.
The former She Corporates and Olila High School tactician has been replaced by Fred Musiime taking over on an interim basis.
Rogers Nkugwa, who threw in the towel at Uganda Martyrs Women Football Team last week is expected to be named the new Lady Doves permanent head coach.
