Kulaba Appointed URA Captain to Replace ‘Indisciplined’ Agaba

URA football club has appointed Jimmy Kulaba as the new captain to steer the team for the remaining of the season.

The 23 year old assumes the role from Oscar Agaba who was dethroned on Monday morning after being found guilty of several counts of misconduct and indiscipline.

“Jimmy Kulaba, ambulance  former assistant team captain has been appointed captain in acting capacity till the end of the season, mind ” a club statement read explaining that “He takes over from Agaba Oscar who was relieved off his duties this morning over gross miss conduct.”

Kulaba has previously played for Uganda police football club.

He joined the tax collectors in July last year and has been serving as Agaba’s deputy since the season commenced in August.

URA are currently fifth on the log standings after twelve games and are scheduled to play Bright Stars in their next league game on 2nd December in Mwererwe.
