Wakiso grade one magistrate Noah Sajjabi has committed two people accused of murdering former Buyende DPC Muhammad Kirumira to High court for trial.
The committal of Abubakar Kalungi and Hamuza Mwebe followed the State Prosecution’s submission that investigations in the matter are complete
The prosecution has now provided each of the accused persons a copy of committal papers containing some of the evidence that is going be based on for the trial.
The committal papers contain the list of exhibits as well as some of the witnesses which prosecution will use.
Among the evidence listed is that Kalungi confessed to have killed Kirumira and Nalinya Mbabazi while at Bulenga.
Kalungi along with his co-accused are linked to the Allied Democratic Forces (ADF) operatives who are said to have been behind this murder.
The suspects were remanded back to Kigo Prison until the next High court convenient session
