Uganda Premier League side Kirinya Jinja SS have on Thursday named an interim manager to fill the void left by Charles Ayiekoh Lukula who resigned two days ago
The club confirmed Abbey Bogere Kikomeko as the interim manager and will take charge of the school side until the end other season.
“Mr. Abbey Bogere Kikomeko who has been the technical director and has got a caf B license has taken over from Mr Ayiekoh Charles Lukula as an interim coach for the rest of the season as the club takes time to look for the suitable coach to replace Ayiekoh.” The club confirmed
His first game in charge will be against Vipers on Friday at St. Mary’s stadium.
The club first Vice President, Bwiire Osodo while confirming the development indicated Kikomeko is capable of managing the team.
” He has been with most of these players in the junior team and at school so there’s no doubt about what he can offer we only wish him well.”
Kikomeko is not new at the club having guided them to winning promotion to the top tier league in 2016.
Currently, Kirinya is 11th on 19 points.
