Kirinya Jinja SSS FC returned to winning ways with a 2-1 victory over Bright Stars FC on Tuesday at their Mighty Arena.
Joel Madondo and left back Isma Kawawulo were on point with two goals in the first and second halves respectivelyas the Abbey Bogere Kikomeko-coached side bounced back to winning ways.
The school boys had lost their previous match to KCCA by 2-0 ending their run of three games on the trot.
Madondo opened the scoresheet with his 13th goal of the season after racing through in a two-vs-four situation with Faisal Muwawu who, unselfishly, set him clear with Benson Wagima in the opposite side for the goal.
The hosts kept the pressure on after resumption. In the 59th, Muganga drilled to the right, set Kirya who was soed ro the byline and delivered a cross. The first attempt by Amaku was denied but Kawawulo was quick to head in the rebound.

Methodius Jjungu pulled one for the Kawempe side heading in from a well curled Dan Bilikwalila cross.
The result lifts Kirinya Jinja SSS FC to 36 points but remain stuck on the 8th place.
Bright Stars with 31 drop one place to 11th.
