The management of FUFA Big League entity Kigezi Home Boyz Football Club has officially unveiled promotional tactician Mark Twinamatisko.
Twinamasiko who joined on a three year deal, was unveiled to the media on Friday evening at Lotis Towers, 16 MacKinnon Rd in Nakasero.
He was unveiled by the club president Spencer Sabiiti, flanked by the team secretary Patrick Katabaazi who doubles as the club’s lawyer.
The CAF “C” licensed gaffer heaped praise on the club management for putting trust in him and promised to work tirelessly and help the club achieve its objectives.
“I thank the management of Kigezi Home Boyz that entrusted me to become the club’s head coach for the next three years. I want to promise the president that I will work with all the commitment and will help the club achieve its major objective of gaining promotion to the Uganda Premier League,” Twinamasiko said.
“I expect to deliver to the management’s expectations basing on my experience to help the club gain promotion and I don’t regret joining Kigezi Home Boyz,” he added.
He replaces Vialli Bainomugisha who departed for Uganda Premier League outfit, Onduparaka football club.
Club president, Spencer Sabiiti noted that they had a major target of reaching the playoffs and progress to the top flight but didn’t make it and believes Twinamasiko is the right person to drive them to the promised Land.
“We had our main obctive of progressing to the top flight but we didn’t make it so we are going tap in new talent that will drive us to our objective and with our new coach, we are going to support him financially and we believe we shall make it so we expect to play in the Uganda Premier League next after next season,” Sabiiti said.
Twinamasiko has in the past coached Free Stars FC, The Saints, Busoga United, Doves FC and most recently guided Kitara FC to the top flight.
Also, the management unveiled Brian Akankwasa as their Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and a new coaster as part of their five-year strategic plan.
