A kidnapped special hire driver in Fort Portal town has been found dead, try http://deltadiner.com/wp-content/plugins/woocommerce/i18n/states/id.php three days after his disappearance.
34-year-old Charles Kasangaki of Rusenyi village, visit web Ruteete Sub County in Kabarole district and a taxi driver operating at Viz Tours in Fort Portal town disappeared on Tuesday night at around 8:00pm.
Kasangaki’s body was retrieved by police in Rwizi, tadalafil Kamwenge district on Friday evening and it was taken to Buhinga Referral Hospital Mortuary.
Preliminary investigations indicate that Kasangaki commonly known as Karole was hired by unidentified passengers before he was killed.
After his disappearance, his wife went and reported the matter to police that kicked off the investigations.
Kasangaki’s vehicle Reg. No.UAV 287S, a Silver Premio was impounded in Kampala. The breakthrough came after Kasangaki’s robbers attempted to sell the vehicle to a person who incidentally had sold the same vehicle to the deceased.
He immediately called his friends back in Fort Portal to confirm whether the car was sold; who disclosed that Kasangaki went missing in the same vehicle. The sellers were immediately apprehended.
The suspects in detention in Kampala confessed to have killed Kasangaki and revealed where they dumped his body.
Police’s Flying Squad then drove them back to the place and the body was recovered.
Lydia Tumushabe the Police PRO in Rwenzori says investigations are still ongoing, but declined to divulge the identities of the killers.
