Brazilian coach Jose Ferreira Marcelo alias Ze Maria was on Monday sacked by Albanian club KF Tirana.
Ze Maria, 45 a former coach at Gor Mahia in Kenya was relieved of his duties officially on Monday due to poor performance.
Since the start of the new season, KF Tirana have won just two games in eight and currently sit 7th on the ten team log.
The former Brazilian footballer accepted the decision from the club and indicated it was the high time the two parties divorced.
“There are times when divorce is needed in case a marriage doesn’t get on well and its high time we divorced because of poor results,” Ze Maria told Tirana Times.
KF Tirana is hone to two Ugandan footballers Tonny Mawejje and Yunus Ssentamu who joined the club last year.
Together with Ze Maria, they helped the team get promoted to the Albania SuperLiga after getting relegated for the first time ever.
