Kampala Capital City Authority FC has been crowned the new champions of the Uganda Premier League.
The Kasasiro boys lifted their 13th championship in style after thrashing Maroons 6-1 in their last league game played at the StarTimes stadium in Lugogo.
Former Maroons striker Patrick Kaddu set the party rolling with an 11th minute header off an inch-perfect cross from Allan Okello.
Another former Maroons product, Muzamir Mutyaba, added the second in the 24th before Kaddu headed in his second minutes to half time.
Allan Okello worsened the situation for Maroons with a quick second half goal, Kyambadde saw his name on the scoresheet eight minutes later before Herbert Achai closed the floodgates.
Seif Batte pulled one for Maroons but it remained as a consolation.
The result put KCCA FC at 66 points, seven above their closest competitor Vipers SC who defeated BUL in Kitende.
Maroons have finished the league on 13th, six above safety.
