Uganda Premier League giants KCCA Football Club has finally completed the signing of attacking midfielder Pius Obuya from Maroons FC.
Obuya who joins the 13-time league winners as a free agent signing a three-year deal that will keep him at Lugogo until 2023.
The left winger has already significantly featured for the Uganda Cubs (U-17), Hippos (U-20) national teams and the Uganda Cranes team.
For some time now, KCCA coach Mike Hillary Mutebi has been an open admirer of Obuya who is regarded as a perfect replacement for Allan Okello who left the club earlier this year for Algerian side Paaradou AC.
Obuya becomes the Fourth KCCA recruit after former SC Villa striker Charles Lwanga plus midfielders Ashraf Mugume and Italian Stefano Mazengo Loro.
The new acquisitions will serve as replacements for the want away players at the club hosting the likes of Muzamir Mutyaba, Sadam Juma, Jamilu Malyamungu, Erisa Sekisambu among others.
