13-time Uganda Premier League winners Kampala Capital City Authority Football Club is set to sign Police’s lanky forward Samson Kigozi Andrew.
ChimpReports understands that both parties have been in negotiations and agreed on a three-year deal running till the 2022/2023 season.
Kigozi joined Police FC at the start of last season, from third division side, Kakiri United Football Club.
In his maiden top flight experience, Kigozi scored five goals in 21 league games adding to his three assists helping Police survive relegation.
However, Police is reportedly in advanced talks with the center forward over contract renewal who is seemingly not interested in featuring for the Cops again, targeting continental football.
Kigozi’s arrival at Lugogo will make him the club’s third signing after midfielder Ashiraf Mugume and striker Charles Lwanga who were brought in two weeks ago.
KCCA after finishing second on the league table standings will represent Uganda in next season’s CAF Confederation Cup.
