KCCA Jinx Persists As BUL Crowned Fufa Junior League Champions

KCCA Soccer academy once again failed the final test as they went down 3-0 to BUL FC Junior team in the final of this year’s Fufa Junior League played over the weekend at the Technical centre in Njeru.

The Lugogo side finished the regular season in the Treble group with an unmatched 67 points, eleven and 33 ahead of Vipers and Onduparaka but crashed on the final day.

Not even their red-hot striker Sadat Anaku who had scored a whopping 31 goals –more than half BUL’s tally of 53- prior to the match could save them.

Reagan Kalyowa double and Deo Ssentongo’s strike led the Hattrick group table toppers to their first title. Previously, KCCA lost to Vipers and Soana (now Tooro United) in the 2015-16 and 2016/17 finals.
