Mike Mutebi’s charges KCCA FC will hope to continue with their fine form when they host URA FC in the Startimes Uganda Premier League at Startimes Stadium Lugogo.
KCCA FC enters this game with a lot of confidence after the Champions stopped the unbeaten run for log leaders Vipers in a mouth-watering clash at Lugogo last Saturday.
The defending Champions now have 22 points from ten games and have won their last five games from which they have collected 15 points.
“We are well prepared and I trust the lads will do all that it takes to win the game. We are playing catch up and we need to win to achieve our ambitions that we set at the beginning of the season,” Mutebi said before adding.
“URA were the only team that beat us at home. We have to be critical in how we counter the game. We are not under pressure but we have a responsibility to win our remaining games,” he added.
KCCA FC has played 10 games, winning seven, drawing one and have lost twice this term.
The defending Champions have scored 17 goals and conceded nine times in the ten games played so far this season while the visitors have scored ten times and conceded nine times in twelve games played so far.
The tax collectors were the only team last term that picked maximum points against KCCA FC at home in the league.
Coach Mike Mutebi’s charges will be boosted by the return of captain Charles Lukwago, Allan Okello and Nicholas Kasozi who missed the last game because of engagement with the National team.
Captain Charles Lukwago is likely to start between the posts and Malyamungu who had a clean sheet against Vipers SC last game day could drop to the bench.
Jackson Nunda and Sadat Anaku are ruled out due to injury.
The duo joins Julius Poloto, Jurua Hassan and Sadam Juma who have been out due to injury for a long spell this term.
