Defending Azam Uganda Premier League Champions KCCA FC have revealed their squad to represent the side in the preliminary round of 2018 CAF Champions League.
KCCA FC will this Friday embark on a huge task which will see the Lugogo based side face CNaPS Sports Club in Mauritania.
In a two legged affair, KCCA FC will then host CNaPS on February20/21.
If KCCA FC emerge victorious over two legs, they will face winner between St Georgia (Ethiopia) and Wau Salaam (South Sudan).
The 27 man squad is a list of players who are now eligible to represent the ‘Kasasiro’ team on the continent.
However, in case the team qualifies for group stages, by CAF rules, changes on the squad can be welcomed.
Notably, the list doesn’t include shot stopper Benjamin Ochan which has fuelled his exit rumours.
Last season, KCCA FC’s dream to feature in the CAF Champions’ league group stages were dented following a knockout in the hands of South African giants Mamelodi Sundowns with a 3-2 aggregate defeat.
KCCA FC had eliminated Angola’s De Agosto.
