13-time league Champions KCCA Football Club is on the verge of signing Uganda Cranes defender Dennis Iguma, ChimpReports can reveal.
Iguma has been on the sidelines since the surgery to his left knee in January this year but is now reported to have agreed personal terms with the Kasassiro Boys.
Reliable sources indicate that Iguma will sign a two-year contract with the Lugogo outfits having successfully passed his medical.
Iguma started his journey with the league winners, Sports Club Villa in 2012 before joining Sports Club Victoria University (now defunct).
While at SC Victoria University, he guided the team to the Uganda Cup triumph in 2014 and later joined Al-Ahed SC in Lebanon. He also played for Bekaa club in 2017.
In case the deal materializes, he will be the fifth signing for the 2018/2019 UPL winners after Italian Stefan Mazengo Loro, Charles “Neymar” Lwanga, Pius Obuya and Ashiraf “Fadiga” Mugume.
The Last 2019/2020 campaign saw KCCA FC finish the League with 50 points in the second position and will now represent Uganda in the CAF Confederation Cup next season.
