Former Inspector of Police General Kale Kayihura has in his eulogy, described the late Major General Kasirye Ggwanga as a true friend who stood by his colleagues amidst all challenges.
In his message to the deceased’s family, Kayihura revealed that he first met the late in 1985 and has ever since kept in touch with Kasirye who has been “full of fun, confidence, and honesty.”
“Major General Kasirye was indeed an exceptional individual. My family and I can never forget him, we are grateful and indebted to him,” said Kayihura.
Kayihura appreciated his(Kasirye) contribution in the period when the former was facing a number of challenges in life.
“Kasirye was truly a man of honor and remains in my thoughts forever as a true loving comrade in arms,” he added.
He further asked the family, friends, and relatives to keep strong during this challenging moment.
Major General Kasirye Ggwanga passed away last week at Nakasero Hospital after battling sickness for some weeks. He has been laid to rest on Friday, June 12, in a scientific burial held at his country home in Nkene, Busujju County in Mityana district.
