Kanye West to Grant Bebe Cool’s Collabo Request, Promote Ugandan Music

American rapper and fashion designer Kanye West yesterday revealed that he is going to work with local musicians to help promote Uganda’s music industry.

Kanye West’s comments come after singers Bebe Cool real name Moses Ssali and Iryn Namubiru requested him to work with them on social media.

And now it seems the ‘Gold Digger’ rapper is considering granting their requests.

However, Bebe Cool and co might have to wait a little longer to work with Kanye as he has revealed that he will do that upon his return to the Pearl of Africa.

Kanye promised to return to Uganda with more resources for him to be able to promote the local music industry internationally.

Uganda is a very beautiful country and we shall be back soon. We shall work with Uganda musicians to promote their music,” said Kanye.

Kanye made his comments at the Uganda Women’s Effort to Save Orphans (UWESO) home in Masulita where he had gone to visit vulnerable children.

UWESO is home to currently 100 orphans and former street children which was launched by the First Lady Janet Museveni who is also the patron.

While there, Kanye pledged to build them a dormitory and then more infrastructures with time.

He also excited the over 100 children with new Yeezys sneakers and clothes.

Kanye was also seen capturing the events from Masulita and broadcasting them live on his Twitter page as a group of Karamajong kids sang and it was clear that he loved it.

He said he would use videos and pictures in his music videos for his forthcoming ninth album “Yandhi”.
