Kampalans ‘Meat’ and Boogie Down at 2017 Muchomo Festival

The 3rd edition of the Muchomo festival held on Sunday afternoon was yet another manifestation that Kampala people love to party.

The club twist-powered event merged foodies, music lovers and kids all in one place.

Meat lovers evidently couldn’t wait to devour  their favorite delicacies.

Game meat, Beef, rabbit meat, name it; revelers feasted as if it was Jesus’s second coming.

Uganda museum was engulfed by scintillating aromas and smoke from the vendors.

Attention-grabbing décor by Club Twist, the sponsors, was also a force to behold.

As the event got busier, renowned spinners like Galaxy FM’s Deejay LL and DJ Nimrod took stage to spin the biggest hits.

For the better time of their showcases, revelers danced as they chatted while sipping on the crisp Club Twist.

Later in the night, renowned group Janzi Band took stage to the much amazement of the crowd.

They performed some of the biggest covers like Jason Derulo’s “Swalla” Busy Signal’s “Black” Mun G’s “Big Bumpa” among others.

The band, unlike earlier performers managed to get the crowd onto their feet and closer to the stage.

The event went as far as 8PM when the crowd dispersed for their respective homes.
