Police in Kampala over the weekend carried out operations in which it recovered several computers, laptops and television sets from shop stalls in the central business district.
Police said the operation in which it raided Majestic Plaza was intelligence led which made it a success.
On Monday, the Kampala Police Spokesperson Cadet ASP Lucas Owoyesigire told journalists that police recovered 21 laptops, 10 monitors and 5 smart television sets.
According to police, most of the items are clearly marked with symbols and logos of different companies in town.
He said police got the items on display ready for sale.
He revealed that two suspects were arrested and are currently detained at Central Police Station as investigations carry on.
Owoyesigire called the public to check at the police station and claim for the recovered items with clear evidence.
