He also burnt Christ Church International of Pastor Vincent Bageya, and later God Tour Promising Church under the leadership of a one pastor identified as Odinga.
It is said that the suspect used petrol and parafin which he bought early Monday morning and after the acts, he handed over himself to Police while brandishing three knives.
He has been identified Ngobi John Reagan, 21 years.
Police said that he is unemployed and a resident of Namugongo in Kira Municipality.
“He confessed that the poverty situation he’s living led him to buy two litres of petrol which he used to commit this arson. In his statement, he said that most of these churches preach prosperity but he has been in poverty for some time, so he decided to save other people from believing what these churches preach,” Owoyesigire said
