Kagwirawo Sports Betting Launches Mobile Based Solutions

The outbreak of the Coronavirus pandemic led to the suspension of massive gatherings in the different sectors and among those affected were the betting firms.

Covid-19 saw all the betting shops that were scattered across the country, closed as a restriction on massive gatherings was imposed to mitigate the easy spread of the disease.

Kagwirawo, one of the few Uganda owned betting houses has come up with mobile based solutions that will enable bettors continue betting without exposing themselves to the deadly virus.

Kagwirawo Sports Betting CEO David Nahabwe while addressing the media on Wednesday, noted that they have developed mobile based solutions via their USSD short cut on Mobile Money services to enable their customers continue to bet.

“Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, most leagues were put on hold and betting houses that were at every corner closed. This affected all the bettors so we have come up with mobile based solutions via our website www.kagwirawo.co.ug and via our USSD short cut on Mobile Money USSD menus for both Airtel and MTN Telecoms to enable bettors continue to bet,” he said.

He added, “Online was a challenge for most bettors because of the language barrier and access to high end phones. The USSD solution is easy and all you need is to go to your mobile money menu and choose to bet with Kagwirawo.”

“We also have an App that is very easy to use for betting and all this allows one to bet safely from from wherever they are without risking to be exposed to COVID-19.”

Kagwirawo Sports Betting manager Chris Mabonga assured the customers that the company will continue to provide the best odds and options.
