Kabale RDC and DISO Implicated in Land Dispute

Eunice Katabarwa is accusing the RDC and DISO for harassing her and the husband and having on two occasions been unjustly detained by the former at Katuna Police.

The dispute she says arose after she refused to sell her land in Katuna town Council to the the DISO Nabimanya.

The two officers however allege that the land belongs to the state yet they have not shown her any documents to confirm their allegations.

She says her family is living in fear because they have been threatened if they return to that particular land.

Katabarwa in her complaint at police, http://creativecommons.org/wp-content/plugins/jetpack/json-endpoints/class.wpcom-json-api-render-embed-endpoint.php pleaded for the duo’s appointing authorities to come to her rescue because the RDC has ordered the Katuna border post Police OC to arrest her and her family if they go back to the land.

Christopher Nakitari the acting Kabale District Police Commander has confirmed the case under SD 42/17/7/2015 and disclosed that they have started carrying out investigations in this regard.
