Rev. Timothy Namanya Rwabwogo, the brother of businessman Odrek Rwabwogo, has died.
Namanya’s sister, Deborah Rwabwogo, told ChimpReports on Saturday morning that her brother succumbed to lung cancer.
“He breathed his last at 2:00am this (Saturday) morning at Case Clinic in Kampala where he has been battling lung cancer,” said Deborah.
Namanya, 58, was the third born of the children of the Late Tomasi and Elinah Rwabwogo.
He has been serving as a Reverend at North Ankole Diocese in Rushere, Kiruhuura District, Western Uganda.
Namanya had a Bachelor’s Degree in Education from Makerere University.
He would later obtain a Masters of Arts in Theology from Uganda Christian University (UCU), Mukono.
Deborah eulogised her departed brother: “He was my brother, my friend, protector,a happy soul and our family’s happiness.”
She added: “He (Namanya) loved Christ to the very end. He loved people. He was the mentor of our children.”
