Kyotera District Woman Member of Parliament Robinah Ssentongo has died.
The 59 year old becomes yet another victim of the deadly Covid19 virus at the Ugandan Parliament.
Ssentongo was a member of the Democratic Party and the only opposition MP in the district.
Her passing was announced by Speaker of Parliament Rebecca Kadaga.

Kadaga said the MP “passed on this (Friday) morning after contracting and suffering from Covid19,” adding that the House would observed a moment of silence in her honour.
