FUFA Big League side Kyetume Football Club has sacked head coach Augustine Nsumba and his backroom staff after a string of poor results.
Kyetume have had dismal performances in the second round of the league managing just two wins in six games hence denting their hopes of gaining promotion.
The club thus decided to part ways with Nsumba who has been at the helm since the start of the season.
Last week, the Mukono based side suffered defeat at the hands of Vura FC a result that could have prompted the club management to make the bold decision.
The club has named Livingstone Mbabazi as the new coach and takes over with immediate effect.
Mbabazi who was relieved of his duties at Onduparaka FC last month comes in to help Kyetume FC keep their promotion hopes alive with five games to the end of the regular season.
His first game in charge will come next week with a trip to Jinja to face JMC Hippos at Kakindu stadium.
Kyetume currently occupy 5th place in Elgon group with 28 points, five behind leaders Ndejje University FC.
