Former Minister Counsellor at Uganda’s embassy in the United States, Dickson Ogwang has exchanged vows with his new partner, Ranny Ismail.
The couple was united in marriage this Wednesday at the Uganda Registration Services Bureau (URSB) in Kampala.
They later on hosted their guests to a reception at Mestil Hotel in Nsambya.
Ogwang was recently recalled from Washington DC over alleged domestic violence, claims he denied.
He is currently a Foreign Service Officer.
His new partner Ranny Ismael currently serves as the Deputy Communications Director of the Parliament of Uganda.
Ogwang came into negative light in 2018 when he was accused by the US government of assaulting his wife Miriam Pheona Atengo.
He was subsequently deported after serving less than a year as Acting Head of Mission.
Ogwang and Atengo had been married since 2011 and have two children.
Mengo Chief Magistrate Court granted the divorce in October this year.
