Towering midfielder Joshua Lubwama “Letti” has bid farewell to his Jinja based side BUL FC having rejected a new contract at the club following his contract expiration in June 2020.
Lubwama joined BUL in 2018 and has decided to end his tenure at the club, rejecting the second opportunity to play for the club.
In his farewell message, Letti heaped praise on his former side for granting him the opportunity to showcase his playing abilities in the top flight.
“After this time, I can only thank everyone at BUL FC, to the staff who made my time here so easy, to all the fans that have supported me since the first day I wore this jersey, to the coaches over the years, to have gone shoulder to shoulder in many, a battle with you has been an honour and to my teammates who helped me settle in since day one not only as a teammate but as friends, it has been an incredible journey and it is with great sadness that I must say goodbye,” he wrote on his social media platform.
However, the midfielder is said to have finalized talks with Wakiso Giants Football Club and is expected to be unveiled as the club’s fourth signing after Pius Kaggwa, Ibrahim Owen Kasule, and Edward Satro.
Lubwama previously played for Buganda Region League side Luweero United FC and Makerere University in the University Football League.
