Attacking midfielder Andrew Samson Kigozi was officially unveiled as KCCA’s seventh signing for this transfer window.
Kigozi who was unveiled during the KCCA’s show on Sanyuka TV joins the Kasassiro Boys on a three-year deal.
He joins the 13-time Uganda Premier League winners from Police FC where he scored five goals with four assists in the previous season on his maiden top flight experience.
After putting ink to paper, Kigozi signaled readiness for challenges ahead and believes joining KCCA is a dream come true.
“I feel so happy to join KCCA and Its a dream come true on my side. My main reason for joining KCCA is because its a top team that aims at winning trophies and very organised with a good manager,” Kigozi said.
He added, “At Police, we only played in League and Uganda Cup but here, there is CAF Confederation Cup next season as well. So, I have very many games to build my career and exposure.”
The lanky forward also featured for Busiro Ssaza team in the 2019 Masaza Cup and Kakiri Town Council in the 3rd division league.
He joins Charles Lwanga, Ashraf Mugume, Italian Stefano Mazengo Loro, Denis Iguma, Bright Anukani and Brian Aheebwa as other players that have signed for the Lugogo outfit.
