Police Football Club attacking midfielder-cum-winger Odong Johnson has extended his stay at the Lugogo outfits for two more years.
The development was on Wednesday confirmed by the club through its official Twitter handle.
The robust player who can as well play upfront, joined the Cops in 2008 from lower division league side Kibuli enjoying his first top flight experience.
“Johnson Odong has extended his stay with us for the next 2 years. Thank you for your loyalty. #WeAreCops,” read the club statement.
Last season, he scored one goal and helped the club finish 13th with 25 points after the league was cut short because of Covid19 pandemic.
Odong becomes the second player to renew his stay with the 2006 CECAFA Kagame Cup winners after midfielder Yusuf Ssozi.
Also, Police FC has already entered the transfer market netting left back Eric Ssenjobe, defender Hassan Mahmood and experienced midfielder Tony Mawejje.
Only winger Pius Kaggwa has departed the Abdallah Mubiru coached side for big spenders Wakiso Giants FC.
