With just days after his unveiling as Onduparaka Football Club’s new signing, Jerry Jakisa has reportedly terminated his employment contract with the West Nilers
Jakisa had controversially joined Onduparaka FC on a two-year deal from FUFA Big League side Nebbi Central.
According to the player’s representative Fred Lewandowski, the defender has parted ways with the Arua outfit after the latter failed to clear Jakisa’s sign-on fees within the specified time.
“Jakisa Jerry has terminated his contract with Onduparaka Football Club,” the player’s representative told Dribbler sports on Tuesday.
He added, “this was after he demanded the club to pay him his sign-on fee which was meant to be cleared in two weeks time from the time of the signing.”
Two weeks ago, Nebbi Central expressed it’s dissatisfaction with Onduparaka for player tapping and unveiling their player minus their consent despite having a valid contract with the club.
Stephen Ogiramoi, Simon Okot, Augustine Opoka, Gabriel Matata, Augustin Akoch, Apio Nelson, Emmanuel Odur, Emmanuel Oekch, Bonny Musema, and Jasper Okello are the other players signed by Onduparaka.
