Rwanda’s first daughter Ange Ingabire Kagame has finally revealed the gender of her first child who was welcomed into the world in July, 2020.
“Ngayo Nguko … It’s a girl,” she tweeted, today September 6.
Upon her delivery back in July, the proud grandfather and President of the Republic of Rwanda His Excellency Paul Kagame, announced the news on twitter.
“Since yesterday we are very happy and ‘officially’ grandparents. Congratulations A&B!! ..:):):) What a joy!?” Kagame wrote on his twitter handle.
“First time is even more exciting!” he subsequently added another tweet.
However, to the surprise of many, Kagame didn’t reveal the baby’s gender leaving many of his followers guessing.
Ange married her husband Bertrand Ndengeyingoma on July 6 last year at a highly private wedding which took place at Kigali Convention Centre (KCC) and Radisson Blu Hotel and attended by family members, friends and several invited guests.
Ange is the second oldest child with three other siblings, Ivan Cyomoro, Ian Kagame, and Brian Kagame.
