Israeli Celebrities Wowed By Uganda’s Beauty & Hospitality

A team of 14 Israeli Nationals who Friday 26 concluded a week-long excursion of Uganda, have praised the Country’s beauty and hospitality.

The team comprises of three celebrity families and professional award winning photographer arrived in the Country on April 21, 2019 and have been visiting several tourist attractions including Kibale Forest, Queen Elizabeth National Park and Kazinga channel among others.

The tourists couldn’t get enough of Uganda’s beauty

They included Ronnit Hershkovitz, MD Safari Company, Guy Pines, host and producer of ‘Good Evening with Guy Pines entertainment show in Israel, Ruti Rudner, a leader in the media and creative industry and Motty Reif, one of the Israel’s leading products of, lifestyle and Television shows.

Others included Simon Louzon a fashion leader who is part of the international Italian Diesel clothing brand and Roy Adin, a famous YouTube content creator among others.

The celebrities revealed that their best unforgettable experience was at Bwindi impenetrable Forest, where they tracked the mountain Gorillas and the Old Entebbe airport, where the Israeli commandos staged a daring rescue way back in 1976.

According to Ronnit Hershkovitz, the team leader and Managing Director of Safari Company in Israel, the trip to Uganda is one the best things they had ever experienced promised that they would return for longer expedition.

The tourists were amazed by Uganda’s hospitality

When asked why they decided to visit as Families, Ronnit explained that they wanted to show how important it is for families to experience nature together.

“From this trip, we wanted to show how important it is for families to experience nature together and appreciate the values of our life that some sometimes take for granted because of modernity.

Uganda is the best place to be with family in the World, it is greener than Switzerland that everyone talks about. We have witnessed that Uganda is one place you can enjoy clean fresh air and so much more,” said Ronnit.

Ronnit also added that they had the most memorable time in Uganda and vowed to market it very well back in Israel.

“The way to attract any tourist is by telling the story of the place, People, nature and wildlife. I think you just have to find for us a new place here in Uganda that will be the new Israel.

We have had the most memorable time in this Country and I want to assure you that Uganda now has 14 ambassadors in Israel.”

Crane Performers entertaining guests

The visit is a culmination of a visit by Prof.Ephraim Kamuntu,the Minister for Tourism, Wildlife and Antiquities with representation by Claire Mugabi, the Marketing Manager UTB to Israel in February,2019, where an agreement to market Uganda Israel was reached with leading Israel tour operators.

The agreement saw a direct flight of over 230 Israeli tourists landing in the Country for a 3-day excursion.

Speaking to Journalists on Friday 26 at Lake Victoria Serena in an event to recount the Israeli stay in Uganda, Lilly Ajarova, the UTB CEO, explained that for Israeli source Market, the target will be multi generation travelers, families and couples celebrating special events in unforgettable ways of adventure travel.

“We have for a while for a while been designing the perfect product for the Israeli tourists and I am very delighted to let you know that there is a reasonable breakthrough.

First with over 200 Israelis that we hosted in February and now you a team of very influential personalities, we hope that more of such visits will strengthen our travel trade and increase Israeli tourist arrivals to Uganda.”

Guy Pines noted that Uganda’s treasure lies in her people.

“The people here are very welcoming. We travel a lot around the World and we were really happily surprised, not only because of the welcome we received whenever we went, but also the fact that almost everyone speaks English.

This was a very nice thing for us as Tourists to find in a place soo far away from home.”

At the event,the guests were treated to a dinner full of African local dishes as they enjoyed soothing cultural entertainment from the crane performers
