The club host URA FC at their new home in Bugembe stadium, Jinja.
Former striker and club record scorer John Wakalaita was the most famous signing among the fans and his peers.
“I decided to return home to revive my game. What I know is that goals will now flow,” Wakalaita said.
The function was presided over by club vice president Mr Osodo Bwire who officially handed the team to new coach Alex Isabirye.
“We have boosted the technical bench, playing unit and other staff. Our goal is to enter Uganda premier league with a bang, not to just participate but to compete,” he stated.
Coach Isabirye stated his targets for the season well aware of the challenge ahead.
“Every team that is going to play in the league aims the trophy. But our realistic target is to stay in the league. However, our main focus is three points each game we play,” Isabirye said.
The newly acquired players include Kiiza David from city rivals Bul FC, Baraza Issa-Busia Fisheries, former Simba FC midfielder-Ibrahim Kazindula from big league side, Kmuli Park FC, Kakembo Edward from Soana, Kiiza Adam and Mubiru Geoffrey from Bulendwe.
Center back-Mike Kawooya from Bul FC, Kamya Moses, Arafa Agonda, Jooga Rajab and Mukasa Wellington all from Seeta United. Makera Shaqur-Artland Katale, and Ceasar Sapeo from SCVU were among those unveiled.
