Representatives from Trace Africa, Sound City and Clouds TV Rwanda and Clouds TV Tanzania, will be flying in for the Uganda Entertainment Awards 2017 (UEA17), which are slated to take place this Saturday at Kampala Serena Hotel.
The team will be arriving tomorrow morning, aboard South African Airways ahead of the grand award gala.
“If a music talent scout is what they are hoping to do, then the UEA17 will be the perfect grounds for this,” said the brand’s CEO Ronald Kabuye.
He added that “With all the musical and entertainment talent that will be exhibited at the awards, these international media representatives are definitely in for a big surprise.”
Trace Africa will be sending their Senior Vice President Leonardo Moerane Manne and Valentine Paulette Suzanne Gaudin(General Manager, South Africa).
Olamide Ayodeji( Group Channels Manager for Sound City), and Laura Monyeazo Abebe (Sound City on air presenter and actress) will be representing Sound City.
Representing from Clouds TV will be Olivier Ndayisaba and Shaffih Kajuna Dauda, Head of Department, Clouds TV Tanzania and Country Director of Clouds TV Rwanda respectively.
“The transformation of the industry is definitely on and as UEA, choosing these international media partners in particular to be part of the 2017 edition was indeed the best decision,” explained Kabuye.
