Sports Club Villa is under restructuring and cohesion in Moses Basena’s team could take longer to come than earlier expected.

With almost an entire new squad, SC Villa have had a dismal start to the new season registering just one point in the opening two games.

The league record champions could not even negotiate past Kampala regional league side Katwe United in the Independence Day Cup game played on Tuesday at Katwe playground.

Katwe United owned by Makindye West Member of Parliament Allan Ssewanyana defeated SC Villa 3-1.

Allan Bukenya scored a brace while Moses Shafik netted the other to guide Katwe United to victory.

Mike Sserumaga scored the consolation for SC Villa.


The Jogoos will return to action on 19th October with a trip to Champions stadium, to play against Bright Stars FC
