Human resource managers of various companies were last weekend tipped on making the right choices when choosing the right health insurance options for their companies.
International Air Ambulance (IAA) on Friday met with dozens of of managers and guided them on helping their companies access high quality private healthcare.
At the event held at Sheraton Hotel the HR Managers were called to partner with IAA to implement workplace wellness programs.
IAA is a health management organization has for nearly 2 decades been providing customized medical schemes in both the public and private sector in Uganda.
The company has centers in all regions and around the country and also partners with several private health facilities.
Herbert Mukoza, IAA General Manager while speaking at the dialogue said choosing such an organization would enable a company’s employees have access to an integrated healthcare system while benefiting from the IAA synergies.
“This means they have access to many healthcare specialists under one roof who communicate and collaborate to provide the best possible treatment,” he said.
“With over 17 years in the Ugandan market, we have developed the largest network of health care providers and facilities in the Country. Our healthcare scheme is serviced by our own Hospital (I H K) and 16 IMC clinic’s network strategically spread across the country plus over 180 affiliate clinics and hospitals” said Mr. Mukoza.
He added that taking up the IAA healthcare insurance would mean that a company has access to high quality services and facilities.
“You are buying more than just healthcare insurance but also you access specialist doctors/treatment with the expertise to handle any health complications or risks.”
Mukoza added that the company will soon be introducing new workplace wellness programs to enable companies attain greater productivity for staff, reduction in work related ill-health and injuries, decrease absenteeism and staff turnover and also ensure a healthier environment for staff.
The annual event was held under the theme “Making IAA Sybnagies Work for You”
