City model manager, Joram Muzira Job, has revealed the reason why his models are always winning on the international scene attaching it to selecting the best models around the country.
Speaking to ChimpLyf, Muzira said he doesn’t deserve to have a bunch of models that can’t be booked internationally.
“In Uganda, people think models have to be beautiful or light skinned the reason why most of them are still struggling locally. I have few unique models that I concentrate on and make them the best. I don’t need a whole village for a modeling agency,” he bragged.
When asked how he gains from his models when they join international agencies, the JMM CEO said he earns more than the local bookings.
“I am paid commission from every model’s salary and I am paid in dollars. One thing I would like you to know is I am paid well and my commission is good enough that it would sustain me for years without leaving my bed,” he added.
Joram’s model Aamito Lagum was the first Ugandan to win Africa’s Next top Model in south Africa and she has since paved way for other models to shine internationally the recent being Aketch Winnie who recently walked for the prestigious Gucci.
