Hundreds of Kampalans flocked the family day out event, Roast and rhyme yesterday at Jahazi Pier in Munyonyo.
Revelers started streaming in as early as midday, excited for yet another doze of fan involving great music and meat roasting this edition.
This edition which was dubbed ‘Reggae Ragga Nyam Nyam,’ had a line up of phenomenal musicians that included; Voltage Music, Janzi Band, the grandfather of reggae Ragga Dee among others.
“First time here and I must say it is as amazing as I have always heard!, ” exclaimed a one Olivia a campus student who was clad in a floral jumpsuit.
Those who came with their meat roasted away whereas it was also in plenty for those who were just buying; drinks as usual, overflowed setting the right mood for party animals.
Ladies strode in wearing all kinds of outfits, mostly body revealing like short jumpsuits, short skirts, dresses and patras, leaving the men out of control.
The event also brought together different celebrities who had come out to have fan including; Bruno K, Maro, Mc Kats, Levixone among others.
When asked why he attended, the RnB Kyabazinga Maro said, “the scenery here is breathtaking, it’s perfect for a Sunday relaxing time away from the city and also the good music. “
By 10pm performances from all the lines up artists were complete and DJ Aluda was playing final jams as everyone was making their way home after a day to remember.
