The deceased has been identified as Justine Nwayo, 49.
The duo picked a fight when Nwayo talked to Olawo about the dangers of drugs which he violently refuted and in disagreement, went inside his hut and picked an axe and instantaneously murdered her.
“Olawo was arrested and the said axe was found at the crime scene and later taken as an exhibit,” deputy Police Spokesperson, Polly Namaye revealed.
Namaye adds that if found guilty, Olawo will be charged with murder.

Onyango added that Mutabazi later met the real Rev Byarugaba and asked him about the money of which the reverend denied knowing about which opened Mutabaazi’s eyes to start investigating the recipient of his money
Mutabazi later went to police and started tracking the phone number until the suspect was apprehended in Lyantonde.
The suspect is working as a driver with Reynolds Construction Company (RCC) on Masaka road.
Onyango promised that as soon as investigations are finalized; the accused will appear before Mwanga II Magistrate’s Court where he will face charges of obtaining money by false presence.
