The Hosted Buyers for the 2018 Pearl of Africa Tourism Expo (POATE) have validated the potential in the Tourism Sector of Uganda and the natural beauty it possesses.
These flew in from different countries to witness Uganda’s natural beauty and tourism resources so that they can sell them to the international market.
Among them are travel agents, travel bloggers, journalists who are all hosted by the Uganda Tourism Board.
Sandra Idossou, a tourism hospitality trainer, consultant, writer from Benin, says her visit to Uganda has been excellent so far and highly recommends everyone to visit the East African nation.
The country is really beautiful, the vegetation, animals, waterfalls of Murchison falls were breathtaking everything was just awesome” she said.
Speaking to Chimp Reports on Monday at Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary Idossou thanked the Uganda Tourism Board for giving her and other hosted buyers a memorable experience.
Tourism is Uganda’s leading export. Revenue collected from various national parks, under recently introduced programs, have been shared with neighboring communicates as part of the efforts to help preserve the parks.
This year’s theme of the Pearl of Africa Tourism Expo is Rediscovering the Pearl.
