‘Mpaka’ records Boss Wycliff Tugume alias Ykee Benda, has finally revealed where he got the inspiration to put up his upcoming concert despite recent flops in the recent shows.
While appearing on a local television, the ‘Munakampala’ singer said that he is always inspired by how much Gravity Omutujju believes in himself.
Ykee Benda also urged upcoming artists to believe in themselves and stop following what other people say about them.
“For upcoming artists out there, you need to believe in yourself and don’t follow what people have to say out there.
You have to care what people decide like where and when to put up a concert.
For example, Gravity knows his clients and where to put them. He is one of the most confident people I know and have much respect for,” he said.
This comes shortly after Gravity revealed that he gave out free tickets to his fans at his recently concluded concert held at Lugogo cricket oval, so that it would look a ‘sold out’ show.
Ykee is planning his first ever concert slated for 30th March at the Kampala Serena Hotel, despite receiving negative feedback from some critics.
