Saturday 24 November was a celebration of gospel music as the genre’s lovers flocked Lugogo Cricket Oval for singer Levixone’s ‘Turn the Replay’ concert.
With gates open as early as 3pm, by 7:30pm, the venue was full.
Besides the night’s main act Levixone, there were a number of other gospel artistes from as far as Zambia, Kenya.
Names like Mr. Seed, Alemba le Grand, DJ Mo from Kenya and Abel Chungu from Zambia entertained revelers before Levixone stormed stage.
Locally, prominent names in the gospel business like Pastor Aloysious Bugingo attended and hailed the singer for his hard work.
After all the curtain raisers including over ten local artistes, Levixone hit stage afew minutes after 9pm and put up a pretty impressive performance.
He sang all his songs from Passport, Esaala, Niwewe, Nonya Omu and many others before introducing his mother to his fans.
Levixone also brought Eddy Kenzo on stage and thanked him for always being there for him before letting the BET award winner briefly perform.
Levixone concluded his performance with ‘Turn the Replay’ and at the end of night; it was evident that it was a successful concert.
